Additional Programs
DANCEabilities
Giving EXTRA special kids a chance to dance! Dancers in the program gain confidence, coordination, and friends while feeling like a star. DANCEabilities also provides volunteer opportunities for tweens/teens who dance at ACA. Our youth volunteers learn important lessons in responsibility and friendship by providing one-on-one assistance to a special needs dancer.
Once a dancer is registered, the teacher will email the parent for clarification of what assistance will be needed for their dancer to be successful.
2024 – 2025 Season
**Choose any class from the schedule. Please email the studio & let them know your child will need a “buddy”**
Private Lessons
To register for private lessons, simply fill out the Private Lesson Request form located on this page. After submitting the form, you will receive an email from ACA detailing the available classes for your dancer. To reserve a spot, just reply to the email. Once confirmed, pay for the lesson through your parent portal before attending. Then, arrive at your private lesson ready to work hard and enjoy the personalized dance instruction!
Advanced Dancers/Competition
These classes are organized into teams and are open to dancers aged 8 and older through auditions. Placement is determined by the director and teachers. Dancers must co-enroll in another technique class each week, though this requirement may be waived for some of our oldest advanced dancers based on their audition performance. Our advanced level classes are designed to challenge dancers and push them at a faster pace. Auditions for competition teams are held around December, but only dancers enrolled in our advanced classes are eligible to audition.
Teacher Assistant
Becoming an assistant at ACA is a geat opportunity for your dancer to use their talents to help dancers younger than them, while also learning what it is like to be a leader.
We have limited spots available and an application must be filled out.
